A year ago Mrs. Pat had a vision of a prayer garden that we all could share in and use in our times of need. The prayer garden is open to anyone who would like to use it and move closer to the Lord. We have a beautiful 20 ft.lighted cross located in the center with paths leading up to the cross from each direction Surrounded by lovely roses and Easter Lillies.We had a wonderful sunrise service at Easter this year. It was a community wide event with several churches participating. We hope to make this an annual event, open to the public and all churches in the community.
We are planning to expand the Prayer Garden some more this year. We are hoping to enlarge it to include some large rocks that will remind us of the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus went to pray. We hope to have a special place for visitors to write their request and place them in it so that only they and the Lord will know. In these difficult times we live in, we encourage everyone to visit the Prayer Garden any time, day or night.
