Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Have you felt the Power of our Lord and Savior lately? Have you felt the presense of the Holy Spirit in your life? If you have then you know what I'm talking about when I say that there is no greater feeling in our world than this.
When times get difficult and we don't know where to turn, there is only one person to turn to and that is Jesus Christ.When we give up trying to solve our problems ourselves and turn our eyes on him and give him the power to change things in our lives,it is the most wonderful and peaceful feeling in the world. All we have to do is believe and he will take care of all our problems. It may not be the way we think it should be, but it is his way.
If you have never had this experience, I pray that you will seek out his Love and let him take control. A while back I was having financial problems and I did not know what to do. So I went to the Prayer Garden and sat and talked with my Lord for a while. After I prayed about my situation, a still quiet voice came to my mind and said"Do you believe in me or are you just giving me LIP SERVICE"? I did'nt have an answer, because he knew what I did not realize. I WAS only giving him LIP SERVICE, but from that moment on I confessed my sin and began to concentrate on believing he would answer my prayer. I had the most peaceful feeling in my heart.
One week from that day, God answered my prayer. I thought I would have to pay in a lot of taxes,but instead of paying we received back what I thought We owed. He showed me just what my faith in him would produce. I also learned that when I don't give my all to him he does not give his all to me.
This is just one example how God works in our lives if we let him. I pray that we will all begin to listen to his still quiet voice and hear what he tells us. God is so wonderful and always there if we just pay attention to him.
